PET tapes can also be called pressure sensitive adhesive tape, splicing tape and sheathing tape. Polyester is also referred to as PET, but this is an abbreviation for its chemical name polyethylene terephthalate.
These tapes can come in acrylic, silicone and rubber adhesive – they are super easy to adhere due to its mechanical characteristics and its high resistance to moisture, solvents, oil and various chemicals.
